Nothing To Get Fat Off

Life on the farm is very busy. I have at least three core teams that I have to oversee daily.

The first team is security. Despite the tough-guy role that security plays, security is actually very sensitive and performs best with a lot of attention. Security is the first team to be briefed in the morning, and to receive feedback.

Next up is technical support, or ‘techies’, as the rest of us call them. This is quite a large team and they perform a vital maintenance role. When they’re not on the phone with customers they’re looking for bugs in the system, and they do a pretty good job keeping viruses down. Like most techie teams they tend to flock together and spend most of their time hanging around the cafeteria. They can be a bit flighty so you have to be gentle with them.
